Christmas Eve is such a magical night for our family. The boys are so excited for Santa to come and bring them their goodies. Before they go to bed we put out milk and cookies for Santa. My little Cole won't let me forget about the veggies for the reindeer. Then their dad reads the classic Christmas poem, TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. He is so Clark Griswold!!

Treats for Santa
Christmas Eve is such a magical night for our family. The boys are so excited for Santa to come and bring them their goodies. Before they go to bed we put out milk and cookies for Santa. My little Cole won't let me forget about the veggies for the reindeer. Then their dad reads the classic Christmas poem, TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. He is so Clark Griswold!!
The "Kids Tree"
We have so many family traditions for Christmas. One of the biggest traditions in all of our lives is the Christmas Tree. I love the idea of having a tree that the kids can decorate themselves. A tree that they can be proud of and rearrange over and over. The "Kid's Tree" in our family is always a real tree that they pick themselves at the tree farm. All of the ornaments are safe for the little ones (no breakables). And I don't mind if they eat all of the candy canes off of this one!!
